Licensed energy retailers

The Queensland Government regulates the electricity and gas industries to ensure Queensland energy users are protected and have the confidence to participate in the retail energy market.

Only companies licensed by the Queensland Government are able to sell electricity or gas. However these retailers - not the Government - will decide which customers they wish to sell electricity and gas to.
